Specifications

Before your contractors implement your plans, it is sometimes important to have a specification of works prepared. This is effectively a complete schedule of all the building works you require, including identifying the quality of the works and the particular materials, colours, electrical and plumbing requirements, etc.

Specifications start at about £500 + VAT for a simple redecorating schedule, on up to £1500 + VAT for a more complex extension.

The specification will be set out in a form that will allow your contractors to price each individual item, allowing you the opportunity of comparing the prices of different contractors.
