Boundary Disputes

Most boundary disputes occur within suburban back and front gardens and most involve only a few inches of land. Most such disputes can usually be fairly easily resolved. We have many years experience in determining and establishing boundries between two owners in dispute, and as such we have developed skills and expertise in ascertaining the most likely location of a boundary by using old plans and deeds supplied, as well as historic indications on the ground.

When we are instructed to deal with boundary disputes, it is our intention to reach a resolve with the other Party, or with his or her Surveyor, without the need to resort to the Courts.

If you consider that you have a boundary dispute (i.e. That someone has encroached upon your land), we will call to the site and advise whether or not you have a claim worth pursuing. If necessary, we will also meet the other side's surveyor/expert and attempt to resolve matters amicably, without going through the Courts.

Our Fees are charged on a time basis for a Partner & Chartered Surveyor.
